Our Supporters
We have been lucky enough to recieve support from the following funders and businesses:
Bridgeman and Bridgeman Landscapes: This local landscaping company have donated several potted shrubs and other items such as wheelbarrows and gardening tools.
LMH Civil Engineering Ltd: Have donated a huge amount of timber which has been used by our partner enterprise The Splinter Group to build all manner of things including chicken coops, fences and even a bird hide for school visits!
Bletchley Rotary Club: Donated £200 to pay for shop quality weighing scales so we could begin our vegetable box scheme; a project that we began in November and has been going well.
The Co-Op Community Dividend Fund: Who funded our 'Bee Wolverton' project, marking the beginning of beekeeping on the Urb Farm!
Milton Keynes Community Foundation: Who funded a water harvesting project and also the purchase of enviromesh and horticultural fleece that we use to extend the growing season of our crops.
Wolverton Unlimited: Funded much of the initial work on the farm as part of the Green Infrastructure Grant, this included putting in a driveway, portacabin and fencing in the entire site.
MK Rotary Club: Funded our chicken project, paying for a new electric fence and soem tree work to make way for our feathery friends!
Wolverton and Greenleys Town Council : Supported us by funidng a fruit growing project- we purchased fruit trees
